Road Movie, 2013

Während der Fahrt zieht die Landschaft vor meinen Augen vorbei wie ein Film.
Das Bild des Außen geht unter in der fortgesetzten Bewegung, die ich eher körperlich spüre, als dass ich sie visuell wahrnehme. Die Bewegung trägt mich, ich werde ein Teil von ihr. Einzelheiten verschwinden.
Es entsteht eine Art Delirium, das Sichtbare bekommt einen halluzinatorischen Charakter – ähnlich wie die Wahrnehmung im Kino.

While touring the countryside, the landscape unrolls like a motion picture.
The image of the world outside vanishes into a continuous movement – a movement that I can rather feel in my body than I could perceive it visually. I am carried away, I become part of the movement. Details get lost.
A kind of delirium unfolds, the visible world seems a hallucination – just like watching a movie in cinema.
